The lunch was Chinese and cost exactly SEK 1337 for the group.
We're currently in breakout sesssions, summarizing our plan for getting seats in the European parliament. The three groups are divided into post-election strategy, major political bullets, and mobilizing support.

Netherlands: The two green parties (one left, one right) have absorbed the privacy issues but there isn't much momentum for civil liberties issues. The politics need to be based on things that are happening here and now, rather than ivory tower thinking.

As reported in geek press everywhere, the administration bought out the few resisting legislators at the last minute, and the general wiretapping law was passed with a 143-to-138 vote.
What made me proud, though, was that the normally shy and inhibited Swedes had taken their clenched fists out of their pockets. ...
